We selected reserved a room which we were not allocated but a significantly worse room, dirty and with plaster falling from the ceiling from a prior leak, poor WiFi, appalling shower room, and no amenities. ( All had to be prearranged) So no drinking water on a day when it was 34 degrees. Owner said he decided to change it. The room had a plug badly fitted to wall with extension bar for the TV and box. Health and safety issues

Shower drain takes hours to get empty and a drop of water falls from shower head every 5 seconds Toilet tank takes hours to fill mattress of bed was deformed (to hold) roof leaks i was told they will fix next year The bedroom door does not lock Hard to find the entrance even with GPS It is a very quite area, owners where very nice

Character property

Very good location, quiet and peaceful but not too far from the town. Hosts are excellent and nothing is too much trouble.

It was a great experience to stay in such an interesting hotel. The owners were friendly and helpful, dinner was excellent and the room was very comfortable. We were able to explore the grounds which must be lovely to use in the summer. Would definitely return.

MOST ENJOYABLE STAY AT THE MANOIR DE ROUESSE

There was a friendly welome , I was amazed by the room and comfort . Very nice diner in the evening and very nice breackfast in the morning .

Overnight stay

Friendly welcome from the owner. Advertised as a chateau but in fact stayed in ghete in former outbuilding. The accomodation had a kitchette and microwave but unfortunately no crockery, utensils or pots or pans to boil water etc. Top of headboard needed vacumning as loose grit from exposed stone work. Plenty of parking. Property a 25 minute walk or short car ride from property.

Overall not a bad stay

Overall a pleasant stay in a very quaint 15th century Manor House. Owners very friendly, carparking plentiful, easy bus ride into centre of town. Not sure we would return as just a bit to quaint for us

Excellent Manoir

Excellent Manoir , close to the town , lots of useful local information. Host extrordinare, phillepe is jovial and a pleasure to meet and syat with. Highly recommend.
