Beautiful historical 1910 cottage built into a hill, overlooking the Mississippi River and less than a mile to historic downtown LeClaire IA. (Home of the American Pickers).

Nightly rate includes 2 guests. Additional guests are $25ea this allows me to only charge more per night when there are more guests. The Cottage comfortably accommodates 6 guests. PLEASE be accurate on your guest count. Guest count is verifiable.

Pets are very welcome at the cottage. Please let me know at the time of your booking if you'll be bringing a pet. Some things to note
Dogs are not allowed on the beds or furniture and must remain on the first floor due to upstairs carpet and sleep spaces. Respecting guests with allergies.
Dogs are $60 per pet per stay
We do not allow cats.

We do allow small gatherings max of 15 Guests.

The cottage

A lovingly renovated 1910 cottage with all the modern necessities but keeping with the historical charm. 3 Decks, including a new tiki bar deck, charcoal grill and a large yard with a fire-pit garden.

Amazing river views from every window. Screened sunporch with bar top, Edison bulbs, yard games and rocking chairs. Have your favorite beverage while overlooking the river for beautiful sunsets or sun rises. 2 bedrooms with full private baths. Spare bedroom ensuite has a Jacuzzi tub/shower, The master bath has a large slate walk-in shower with jets.

The gas fireplace is perfect for cozy evenings in the living room. You'll also find an entire wall of French doors with views of the river. Watch barges and boats sail by. Bring your own vinal or use our assortment, on a unique upright record player, or watch a movie on the new large screen smart TV. The cottage provides complimentary high-speed fiber optic internet.

A whimsical iron spiral staircase takes you to a quant sitting area with a small futon couch, TV and reclining chair. Both bedrooms are located upstairs.

Directly behind the property is a park with children's play equipment and a gazebo.

The fully equipped eat in kitchen has everything you need! We offer a Keurig coffee maker and also a coffee pot. The coffee and filters are complementary. Dishes, utensils, cooking supplies are available for your use. As well as a gas range, microwave, dishwasher and even a wine fridge.

Please treat the cottage as you would your own, once you walk thru the door, you will feel right at home.
