House and property was very poorly taken care of. The yard was a mess, unmowed, trash in places. The house had so many weird things- fixtures that didnât work, a door where the handle came clean off when you tried to pull it, holes in walls, exposed wires, poorly executed patch and paint jobs, weird plastic on the countertop, can lights falling out of the ceiling, held up with tape. WiFi didnât work. One of the ovens didnât work. Toilet stopped working. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets. The home seemed very unloved and the booking was way overpriced given the state of the property. Itâs too bad, with a little effort this could be a very nice place.
I don't know where to start!! Binney did his best to solve the concerns I had, he responded to my messages in a timely manner. I was there with my family and this property COULD be worth what I PAID to rent it but it definitely WAS NOT!! The house is in disrepair, who ever owns it is just letting it fall down. Previous reviews are not wrong, it needs serious updating. 1) It only has ONE smoke detector in the whole house. 2) Master bedroom has a window that is broken and when we got there it had been taped together. The tape had come unstuck and you could see outside, let alone it could have fallen in on someone. 3) Trying to get hot water to your faucet took more than 5minutes and it still wasn't that hot! 4) Fixtures were falling off the walls, toilet paper holders, the TV mount on the ceiling was very questionable I was afraid it may fall down. 5) All the sink fixtures need replaced, kitchen faucet was broke and I had to take the end off so you could get a stream of water not just spraying water. No kitchen towels. Bathrooms the water was (no exaggeration) barely coming out of the faucet. 6) The grass needed mowing with a sign at the pool that warned you to be aware of snakes. The pool needs a professional pool cleaner to get it up to snuff, filters were full and not working. The pictures used to show off the property must have been taken at much early time. It is so sad this property could be a beautiful place to rent if the owner would just put some money into it.
We were not impressed with our stay. When we went to make supper the first night we found a pizza in the oven. The house yard was overgrown the mower was setting there broke for who knows how long. The light was out of the pool laying under the diving board with the wire going down in tho the pool. The one window was cracked. The barns and horses area looked nice. The property has a lot of potential but it's needs a lot work. There is trim that needs finished in the one bathroom. There was also exposed plumbing in the laundry room, it also smelled like incense in there. The kitchen faucet was broke and didn't spray right or have hot water. The jacuzzi tub cold water didn't turn on.
The ranch was plenty big for our family. There were lots of things for kids to do: fish, swim, ping pong, etc. House did need some repairs-doorknobs fall off or stick, window broken, unfinished bathrooms.
This is a beautiful property with great views. Conveniently located to visit Cincinnati but not stay in the city. There was only one disappointment that a lot of people coming and going. Not private .
The property was lovely and located conveniently to many attractions. The property had a country like setting. The pool was great and the grounds were very peaceful.
