Staff were great, but the pricing was horrific, £2 for a standard bag of walkers crisps & £18.50 for a self service buffet breakfast. Worst of all the TV didn’t work due to a server fault, we were told on check in, with an apology & a smile but nothing else!

Staff and cleanliness superb. Disappointed that the tv was not working. There was a problem with all the new smart tv’s it seems, but our plan after a long day and needing an early start in the morning was to chill out watching Strictly! So very disappointing. Mattress was very hard, otherwise everything great.

Having stayed at other Marriot hotels - this is modern on the outside BUT the rooms are very old/ dated. The room had no sockets next to or near the bed & old USB sockets located on the desk. The design is outdated with dark wood furniture resembling the 1990s. The bathroom resembled and old fashioned welcome breaks, days inn or Premier Inn with old bathtub & fittings. I expected walk-in showers and some modernity reflecting the exorbitant £200 p/night!! I was surprised to be charged for parking as it’s located on a business estate outside of the city centre. Disappointed. Disappointing.
