The fire alarm was set off numerous times in the 3 weeks we stayed on a business assignment. There were police called several times to escort suspected drug dealers and prostitutes out of the facility. We had to change rooms after the first couple of days due to a TV going out in our room. The cable went out in our new room and we only had wi-fi but were not given a discounted rate. Our power,including fridge and AC unit went out for an entire 14 hrs during June, we werent allowed to change rooms or get a refund for that day. Dead roaches in the bathroom. Overall bad experience.

i could hear my neighbors in and out of their rooms and the noise from 2nd floor cleaning and talking. i was there supposedly to get some sleep but i couldn’t. the toilet if leaking. there’s a cobb webb

Bag of garbage from previous guest was in the room when I checked in. Floor seems not to have been cleaned. Fridge was not plugged in. No ice bucket. Nothing major, but minor inconveniences that could easily be remedied.

Smell of Marijuana could be smelled in all hallways, and in our room, bought airfreshiners and spray, worked a bit, manager would not give a partial refund because we needed to leave because it was so bad... we left 3 days early. No smooking signs everywhere but clearly not adheared to. I know pot is legal in Maine but nees flash not everone wants to be a pothead.... not recommended unless you love pot and loudness....

Property has been renovated and my room was very nice. All essentials worked great, comfy bed. Neighbors were extremely loud all hours of the night for most of the week. Seems to double as a dorm for a local college. But an incredible bang for the buck.

Hotel is very outdated and very very dirty. Would not recommend. We checked in and once we saw the place we left and went to the Marriott. Sometimes cheaper isn’t better.

There renovating this property, the internet was not working, basic cable 2/3 channels and I only found out when I got there, I was not-spending time in the room so it was ok for me, the power went out some time Saturday morning after Midnight, and they don't have a back up generator so no saftey devices could work like fore alarms, lights there were no emergency lights, I was on the ground flor so lucky me if we had to evacuate. Walk with a back up mobile battery pack if you stay there.

***WARNING*** Please be warned. I read all the reviews. They were good and they were bad reviews. I tried to be positive. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt when I got to the hotel the room we were supposed to have was for a king bed there were no king beds available. They did not tell us until we got to our room and complained. my wife and I had to stay in separate Unmovable beds. The hotel free premium cable TV. There were no Premium channels. All premium channels said “not available with current subscription.” We complain to the desk person, and asked for a refund or even some kind of a credit, but they would not issue it. I ended up complaining to Expedia and tried to put a stop payment with my bank. I would never ever go there. I hope you listen to this And save yourself the same trouble. Spend $10 more and go someplace else.
