The hotel was conveniently located next to the arena, the reason for our visit but the doors connecting the buildings were closed making us go outside unnecessarily. The hotel has a small inconvenient unassuming entrance. The property is so dated and dark making it look run down. They severely overcharged for the evening. The air did not work in our room. We had to change rooms initially for a horrible smell and heat. The hallways look dated and paint is chipped and uncared for. Our bathroom ceiling was dirty with hair on it and stains. Hyatt was the brand back in the day but this was horrendous.

My room smelled like weed. I was told that parking across the street was free by the outside attendant and the lady who checked me in and both failed to let me know there would be a ticket that needed to be validated so I had to pay the next morning to get out and send an email and go through extra steps to get reimbursed. Also there was not one bar of soap in the room for hand washing or in the shower.

This is a fine hotel if you're going to be out late but if you need/want rest, I don't recommend. The street traffic was incredibly loud. Lots of engines revving all night long. You'll feel like you're sleeping on a race track. The hotel was old and in need of updates. Our tub didn't drain, held water, low shower head, be tough for someone taller than5'6" to shower. Very soft water pressure. Parking is across the street. No super practical if you're coming and going. They do offer valet though. Probably wouldn't choose to stay here again unless attending an event at Rupp, and then only for the convenience factor.

Loved the location, rooms, guest services and grill were all fantastic. Beds so comfy the down pillows and comforter were great. Housekeeping made beds and swapped towels daily, which is a rarity in todays hotel stays in my latest experiences. Will definitely book them again.

Good location. Very noisy on backside of property. Street noise all night and we were on 8 floor. Just worn out… desperately needs to be renovated. Carpet, lighting furniture. Nice staff, restaurant was good and service
