The view off the balcony was ok. You can see the sunrise from the far left of the balcony. And the walk to the beach is short. The beach is clean and the pools are beautiful. Good deal for the price.

Wonderful Stay at Beautiful Resort

We had a wonderful time at the outrigger - the location is absolutely perfect. The pool was wonderful, my family really enjoyed themselves here. The communication with the property manager was great - my daughter unfortunately left behind a couple items and the property manager was amazing to work with and helped us in no time be able to get her items back. Truly exceptional customer service and so greatly appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Kauai vacation

Everything went well once we got the booking squared away. The property was decently clean and well kept. The kids loved the pools and enjoyed the fish ponds. We would come back to stay for sure. Mahalo to Crystal for a nice stay.

Unsure if we would stay with this host again

Our room was great, clean and as advertised. The hotel was terrific, and our children had a great time. Everything about our stay met or exceeded expectations, except 3 things. I messaged our host to inquire about early check-in since we had arrived early, although it was not expected (because the host clearly stated that check-in time was 3-4pm). Our host replied about 3 HOURS LATER, allowing us to check in early ...at 4:30pm, 30 MINUTES AFTER the regular check-in time. Imagine if I needed to contact the host for an emergency! A simple no to early check-in would have been fine. Also, everyday during our stay, construction was being done on the unit above us. Every morning at 6am, I would hear someone rolling equipment accross a tile floor. Work would often begin a little after 7am every morning, waking myself and my family. This was not a pleasant experience to say the least. Our dog has cancer, and I inquired with our host about checking out early because we were notified that he took a turn for the worse during our stay. Again while we had no expectations, we received a prompt but rather cold, matter-of-fact response from the host. Overall we had a great time, however the host did not leave us feeling like a valued nor respected customer. The entire island of Kauai is beautiful!

The location is great, close to the airport, hiking trails and beach. Room is nice and clean. Check in and out was easy as was communication. No early check-in though...per front desk they need to stick to check-in time privided by owner, not really a big deal, just thought some people may find that helpful. Thank you and Mahalo!

Lovely Winter Getaway

We had a great stay. All was as presented in the description. Crystal communicated well with us and responded to any questions. The pools and hot tubs were very nice, as well as location to beach. Slide and kids area shallow sandy pool. We’d like to come back with the Grandkids sometime. Location is close to Lihue and Kapa’a.

We loved our vacation in Kauai!! The accommodation at Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort was great. Our kids loved the water slide, the spa was also lovely, and breakfast at Napuka was delicious. The resort overall including the pool area can definitely use some updating though, but it seems like a lot of renovation is already in progress. It was a good central location between since it’s located between Hanalei and poipiu beaches (the beach at this resort is not safe for swimming). Overall everything was great, it was a really great value and we would absolutely recommend

Perfect little getaway

this is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Not much close to the resort and town is just a few minutes away. Nice and quiet....Restaurants at the resort are not the best.

This property has a wonderful swimming pool. The desk is very friendly and responsive. You can eat at the hotel even though it is expensive. There is a bar with music band every evening. Also the parking is great. The only negative point is that the room was a bit noisy.

Great Family Friendly Getaway

This was a last minute booking so we didn’t know what to really expect, but it was fantastic for our needs. Kids loved the pools and waterslide! The room was clean, large hotel fridge, partial view of the ocean, helpful check-in staff and close proximity to airport. We rented a car and easily got around the island from the hotel. Crystal with reservations was also wonderful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely week of enjoying the island and the resort pools, beach and restaurants. Our VRBO room was great. Our only complaint is that there was not a comfortable sitting chair in the room. The two cast-off office chairs in the room were ugly and not comfortable! Lost the vibe on that choice!

Fun Family Getaway

We had a great visit at this room in the Kauai Beach Resort. We've stayed at this resort a couple of times before but this was the first time not booking through the resort directly. There wasn't much of a difference as we still had access to everything we were interested in, which for my daughter were the pools and water slide. We walked the resort property and the beach, had dinner and drinks at the restaurant and lounge, and enjoyed the convenient location of this resort making it easy to get north or south. Everything in the room was clean and we had everything we needed. Although you can see the ocean, the view from the balcony overlooking the parking and work area isn't the greatest and it got a little loud the first night with laundry carts rolling past below, but the sound machine took care of that and we had plenty of other ways to enjoy the property. The beds are doubles, which we were aware of and found them comfortable, but might make it tight unless your kids are smaller. We would absolutely consider staying here again.
