Seulement 7 marches sur le sable! Maison historique des années 1920 magnifiquement restaurée au bord de l'océan avec de grandes vues sur le sable et le surf! Juste une courte promenade du casino via la plage! 5 chambres / 2 salles de bain.
Profitez de la 15 pieds de pierre, cheminée à gaz, poutres apparentes, la main moulage conçu et travail du bois. La grande chambre comprend une grande télévision à écran plat, un coin repas et une cuisine avec vue sur le surf. Pas de nuit simple entre juin et septembre Grande terrasse isolée ouvre cour clôturée, bain à remous donnant sur la plage et WIFI.
Complètement meublé avec des draps et des serviettes, ainsi qu'un kit de démarrage de produits en papier.
* Lincoln City a un maximum de 4 voitures et 10 invités à l’escalier menant à la mer (visiteurs compris). *

Été 2020 juillet et août ont un minimum de 5 nuits (à moins de combler un vide).

Great Sunsets

We appreciated being 12 steps from the beach and really enjoyed the great sunsets the last three nights. The pictures regarding the listing were a bit misleading using pictures from past and present so may want to only use the updated pictures in the listing. The fridge and dishwater where a smaller size for a studio size apartment maybe not for 10 guests staying in a home so it would have been helpful to understand that. We planned meals at the house most nights, and the kitchen was not set up for large groups. The cookie sheet available was too wide for the petite oven, and dishwasher was used after preparing each meal and again after eating each meal. Used coolers for extra food that did not fit in the fridge. The bbq is a charcoal bbq, and the chairs in the pictures have notes to not remove from the patio although in the picture it leads you to believe they can be in the grass. The notes all around the house on everything were very helpful to understand expectations. Overall, we really did enjoy being right at the beach but would just suggest the description be updated so no one is mislead.

Great 95th Birthday Trip! Excellent, Patient Manager!

We were so pleased with our stay. My 95 year old mother-in-law loved sitting in the living room gazing at the ocean. The rest of us loved that we could just walk across the front lawn, open the gate and then take the stairs to the sand. Wow! It was outstanding.Even more outstanding was Karen, the rental manager. After I booked I decided I wanted travelers' insurance, and she took care of that for me. She was patient when I found I might need to change our dates. She answered all my questions about stairs for my MIL, and was very gracious when I emailed her on the weekend to ask about dishwasher pods not realizing the directions were right there on the pods container! Jeepers! I hope we'll be going there again next year for a 96th birthday trip.

Beach Trip

The listing pictures were mixed with old pics (before updates) and newer pics (after updates). So that was confusing when we arrived. Some windows down stairs and upstairs were painted shut. Air flow could only happen if an entry door was propped open. That was difficult because of the high winds and heavy rain. The property is in a great location. The kitchen is small. The house is cozy. There are lots of rooms on both levels. It needs some fixes, especially dealing with the painted windows. That could pose a Life-Safety issue should there be a fire and someone is trapped in a room where the windows are painted shut. We had a good time. We would consider staying again if a few safety/maintenance issues were addressed.

Awesome ocean view and beach access!

This was my 79th Birthday/New Years trip with my family of 8 (2 teenagers (15-19). As soon as we checked in, my youngest grandson gave me a hug and said, "Grandma, this place is awesome!" We all agreed! The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed, even a K-cup coffee maker! Most important for us was the easy beach access and the fantastic view but we all fell in love with the house itself! I am glad my tall sons have patience and a sense of humor for the small showers! LOL Hot tub was great, TV easy to use, watched football with our Fubo app., large table great for dice and board games, fireplace and comfy couches a plus. I am so happy to have chosen Stairs to the Sea! We ended the trip New Years Day with 3 brave family members running into the surf for a "Polar Dip"! At 79, I captured the memory on my camera! Thanks Karen and crew, we will RETURN!

Unbelievable Location

Family stayed for the weekend and the beach access is so amazing. My elderly parents were able to enjoy the beach and also watch with ease when they didn't go out. Great diversity of bedrooms. Hot tub was great.

Older house with great vibes!

We loved staying here! Very cool nostalgic home! We made lots of memories that we can’t wait to make a yearly tradition! Being able to see the ocean from the hot tub was perfect! We saw lots of dolphins which was an unexpected bonus!

The good… the bad/concerns

Check in went very easy code worked the first try. Location, view, directions were great. Our disappointment/concerns. We had to plunger the kitchen sink right off as it was draining slow. The toilet on the main was slow, and the shower flow on the main bath was very low. As an owner I would want to know because they may have a pipe or pluming issue. The stove top was damaged and slow to boil. The oven was a 100 degrees off. At those rates I expect better. The owners must know because they just stuck a thermometer in the oven. The toilets are not ADA they are to low. There were very specific rules for the garbage cans but two of the three were full when we got there. Bamboo, paint cans, garbage. Then to be threatened about a fee for garbage bags left next to the cans was disconcerting. We felt that the requests for the towels and sheets washed was fair. Everything else was great and the view and location was fantastic. Being handicapped it was wonderful to be so close to the beach. It was beautiful weather and mom and daughter had a relaxed and low key Mother’s Day weekend. Thank you.

Great location, inaccurate description.

House is large, plenty of bedrooms, great location in lincoln city, hot tub was great. 7 steps to the beach is not true. Staircase to beach is closer to 20 stairs. If you have little ones or guests with mobility issues you may want to think about it. Home was mostly clean, kitchen had issues. Fridge was dirty and was warm on arrival. Cooled down after about 12 hours. Rental management company was helpful.

What a spectacular view! And a quiet, cozy, vintage home.

The home was easy to enjoy. Vintage rooms, comfortable beds, clean upstairs and down, close to town. Managing the stairs and small spaces (little showers, kitchen nook, cozy bedrooms) was perfect for us! The living room couches were clean and comfortable. The fireplace masonry and the beautiful woodwork of the ceilings and pine wood is 100% charm. The home was well insulated and quiet. The flat screen TV was unobtrusive and easy to use. Quick access to the beach via stairs from the front yard. The kitchen had the typical odd assortment of utensils, pans, dishes. If you like brand new everything and lots of room, this would not be a place you'd enjoy, but we love quaint, cozy, rustic - and it was a real treat to get to stay in an original home built so well from the 1920s. We LOVED it. The showers are TINY so if you're big body people or super tall, this home would be very challenging. We stayed in the little loft room with the angled ceiling and loved waking up to the ocean view from its little attic window. None of the bedrooms have a view of the ocean but the dining room and living rooms have it all - spectacular view from where it matters most.
