It was very quiet until the last night when someone was put in the room above us - then it sounded like a 500 lb gorilla with tapping shoes on. The room and the view were great. Breakfast was very good.

Good stay for a rainy day!

Nice place to sit and watch the rainy beach 😊. Too bad it was too wet to use the outdoor amenities as they looked awesome. Bed was comfortable enough, loved the chairs to sit by the window.

Lovely hotel. Wonderful views, even with the rainy weather. The kids and I swam and hot tubed and the pool was clean and warm! The breakfast was in a separate little building and the host was attentive and kept the sausage and eggs full as the morning diners arrived. All around great stay!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Surfland! I loved my room, it was clean & cozy with an amazing ocean view! The staff was great - they were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very convenient & much appreciated! The hotel has an amazing location, with the ocean right below, just a walk down a stairway to get to the beach. I definitely plan on staying here again & would highly recommend it to others!!

Nice little place near the ocean

Room was clean and well maintained. Pricing was exceptionally reasonable for ocean view room, housekeeping was efficient and trustworthy. The desk staff was friendly and attentive. I would just make one small suggestion for the management to review with staff Oregon law where it pertains to ESA and the charging of fees. Even though I was charged, the pet fee was reasonable. I will book again in the future.

Like always our stay here was amazing. Staff goes above and beyond to satisfy their guests. The views are to die for and the pathway and stairs for beach access is very convenient. All I would recommend is better breakfast options. You really need to add biscuits and gravy to the menu. It's very cost efficient and easy to prep and make.

Is it too hard to ask "How was your stay?"

The bathroom smelled like urine and the beds were very stiff. The fitted sheets had stains and the chairs creeked. This looked like a renovated old motel tryung to make it trendy and quirky, but the amazing view was only thing good about the room. At no fault of the hotel, there was a car alarm that went off multiple times during the middle of the night that woke us up. Then in the morning I went to the front desk to see if we could do a late checkout and explained the car alarm. She extended it to 11:30am (30 minutes later than usual). Then she proceeded to say that every 30 minutes after, there will be a $20 surcharge. Who does that? Tell me there is no late checkout would have been better than nickle-diming me. Then we decided to check out early due to just frustration and uncomfortableness of the bed. There was an older lady with short blonde hair at the front desk. She didnt even ask how our stay was. We will never come back here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are relatively nice with a nice view. They ran out of parking one of the nights we were there. The main reason I can't say my stay was great though is the paper thing walls. My neighbors were having a good time, but they weren't being ridiculous with the noise and the walls were so thin it felt like they were in my room with me.
