Nice quiet stay

We came in for an opvernight. The lobby was clean and quiet. The room was over all clean, tiles in the shower looked like they could have used a little scrubbing - found what looked like a greasy palm on the far back side.NOT a big deal and we didn't mention it since we were able to just wipe if off, and once in our room, we didn't hear anything. Very quiet. Our beds were perfect, comfortable. Breakfast had many options and had healthy options, even on a Monday morning!!! Eggs (2 ways) sausage, waffle maker, cereal, mufins, juice, milk and coffee - a real delight as often it's just a mufin or other processed carb treat and coffee. Staff were kind and helpful.

Not worth the money

First of all at check in, I was asked for my ID and handed my room keys and told where the elevator was. Didn’t say where or when breakfast was, or any other information. We were on 3rd floor, when my husband went looking for an ice machine, he couldn’t find one so he had to go to lobby and ask. He was told the ice machine is on 2nd and 4th floor, so he went to 2nd floor that machine was out of order so finally found ice on 4th floor. The breakfast was absolutely horrible, warmers weren’t turned on under food that’s supposed to be warm, so the scrambled eggs and sausages were cold. I will never consider staying here again. I expect much more from a Marriott property.

We decided to stay another night, and ended up in the same room. The first night I noticed the shower walls were not very clean and the next night, they still had not been cleaned. Also, I had called to make sure the pool was working a few days before our trip, and they said yes. We get there and they said it was down for maintenance. We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year and every time there seems to be an issue with the pool. We have yet to get to swim in it. Other than that, everything else is fine.
