A great stay recently. The caravan was very clean and a nice welcome pack of Easter eggs was provided. The hot tub is bigger than it looks in the pictures and can easily fit 4 adults in. The location was good and a 10-15 min walk to the main areas. Would definitely recommend.
Firstly the caravan..Its very well presented with some nice homely touches which sets it apart from your basic holiday park caravan. There was a lovely hamler waiting for ilus on arrival which was very much appreciated. The caravan was spotlessly clean and well laid out for a family of up to 6 comfortably without using a sofa bed. The hot tub was very nice. We used it around 8 times in 4 days and it was perfect for relaxing in the freezing temperatures outside. The only thing id say is that the cover is awkward to take off and put on but that applies to most hot tubs. There ware games and colouring for the kids too was a nice touch. The owners were very helpful replied to my messages fast. The site is a nice holiday park with all the amenities you'll need. We didnt explore it too much due to the weather but the clubhouse and pubs/restaurants were nice. Good entertainemtn for the adults and kids. Overall a really nice stay. We would highly recommend.
Lovely pace, very clean, welcome pack was really nice. Bread, milk, eggs etc. The owners had decorated for Halloween which was a lovely touch.
Would love to return next year.
The caravan âwows youâ the moment you open the door!
The owners have literally covered EVERYTHING! Gadgets and food stuffs in the kitchen, spare toiletries in the bathroom, games, dvdâs, childrenâs toys, fresh flowers and the most appreciated welcome basket ever!!
Easy check-in with the key in a lock box and we found the caravan to be spotless on arrival with fresh flowers and the gold standard in welcome packs, including eggs and bacon! The hot tub was fantastic and used every day, whatever the weather. Guest passes were included for the leisure facilities but be aware you need to book some including swimming and the splash zone (can book up to 21 days in advance). The Catch 22 fish and chip shop lived up to it's reputation for quality and the other restaurants we used were good if maybe a little pricey. There's a (very expensive) shop on site for basics but shops just up the road and Tesco about 12 miles. We saw all supermarkets delivering on the site and Dominoes and others deliver too. One comment - Ivy Lodge is on the takeoff path for RAF Coningsby which is great to watch the Battle of Britain aircraft including the Lancaster but the Typhoon's are very loud and were night flying while we were there. Our dog got a bit scared but our 18 month grand daughter slept through it!! We would definitely recommend Ivy Lodge for a family holiday.
We had a lovely time in Dawn & Marks caravan, spotlessly clean & comfy, an amazing welcome pack & fresh flowers on arrival . & the family enjoyed the hot tub thanks again for all you did for us Dawn after changing the amount of guests we previously booked from 4 to 8 of us + 2 dogs ..
We arrived to an extremely clean and tidy accommodation with lots of home touches ie board games, Wii, good selection of dvds, wifi and an impressive welcome pack. The communication between myself and Dawn was good and my queries were answered swiftly before arrival and we had no issues during our stay. The hot tub was a great temperature and like theoughout very clean. I would highly recommend this to family and friends and there is plenty to do onsite and the fish and chip shop in the village is very very good.
Was absolutely amazing the property is gorgeous and the photos on the listing does not do it justice this is amazing stay and the welcome pack to the little touch around the caravan are so helpfull. They have thought of everything could not fault it a+++++ from me will defiantely book again
The lodge was very comfortable and immaculate. Dawn had provided a very nice welcome pack for us which was much appreciated. The lodge was fully equipped and we wanted for nothing. The lodge is situated at the quieter end of Tattershall Lakes which suited us perfectly. Would definitely recommend Dawnâs lodge to anyone wanting to stay in this lovely area of Lincolnshire.
