The property was beautiful and clean as seen in the property photos. Also dog friendly. Closest we will come to staying in a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired property. Weâll stay again if weâre in the area.
Amazing property to stay at and Lincoln was a lot of fun. Perfect location to walk around downtown. You can walk to restaurants, stores and a movie theater. It was a great stay and the property is so unique and incredible.
I loved the retro style. Water pressure and water temperature was amazing. It is definitely an old building so go in with that expectation. There is cracked tile in front step that needs fixed please (almost fell down when stepped on it) and a window in front room was leaking during the rain storm. A lot of room to spread out. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would like to see a few more things added for guests such as hair dryer, kids dishes, step stool(kids couldnât reach sinks to wash hands and brush teeth), more kitchen items, throw blankets downstairs, paper and pens in office. Supplies are bare minimum and since we had a 10 day stay we had to go pick up some things. We had 2 young kids so we had to be careful with the open staircase but they did fine. The upstairs room with the TV was so hot compared to the rest of the house and it was in the 90âs outside so we just closed it off and brought the TV downstairs. Communication with the host was amazing. I would definitely stay again. Close to downtown and within walking distance to the square. IGA grocery store is a few blocks too. Trains are loud and run at all hours but we brought a sound machine and that worked well.
The title was because I accidentally booked this location but I didnât want to cancel so I figured Iâd check out Lincoln. The was a live music downtown on the Saturday it didnât interest me because Iâm handicapped and donât get around the greatest but Iâm not sure how often this is like every month or just in June but it might interest others if you can let it be known. If you did advertise it and I overlooked it then my bad. As far as your place idk about any improvements. Pretty much just slept there. Do to my health i donât do up and down stairs so while I was there I pretty much Ed stayed upstairs, Again it was my mistake on booking but it was enjoyable
The house was AMAZING and the property contact was super kind and easy to get in contact with . We had a snafu that no one could have prevented and the property owner did what needed to be done to keep us comfortable without question. Iâd come back and stay again if I had the opportunity.
This home is perfectly situated in Lincoln! And as fabulous as the pictures are, they donât do it justice! This unique retro home is a creative treat and was perfect for our little family! We will be renting this again!
The place was amazing. Lots of room. 2 Exterior lights were out making it a little dark to get in at night. I also replaced a bulb in the tv room plug in lamp with a bulb in the laundry room. There is also a fixture going up the stairs that wasnât working. With an extended stay it would also be nice if there were a couple of more dish towels for drying dishes.
My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The historical townhouse was spacious and afforded us space to spread out but also spaces to gather. We loved the period details and appliances. The one drawback was the train noise at various hours, but the noise didnât ruin our sleep. The access to Idle Hour and Guest House was particularly enjoyable. We would all gladly stay here again!
