I have been going to this Inn for years . The transformation through the years of the building is amazing. It's beautiful, they are friendly and it's safe. You could not ask for a better place to stay or nicer hosts while you are there.
This was a one-night stay for us to attend a funeral in a remote area. It was in a good location that offered everything we needed. Room was quiet and large. Bed was firm and while we did sleep all night, it was "crinkly" and super firm. The spider webs that greeted us outside in front of the door were yukky but didn't affect the inside. Towels are terrible. Thin and almost thread bare enough that we used the "bath" towel provided and the hand towel to dry off with. Invest some $ in new towels. Please. We would stay here again if in the area.
Best place to stay in Lincoln. Walkable to the lakes. Room and bathroom are cleaner than most fancy hotels Iâve been in. Bed is comfortable. Small town vibe for sure.
My Electricians Arrived and there were no keys left out for them at the Front. After this was Cleared up; they were put in a Room that is not what was booked; their Room was Taken by another Larger Group that arrived before them. There was a Huge Whole in the Ceiling that was being covered by a Black Garbage bag... All the Pictures in the Room were Crooked; just looked like the Room was not cleaned after the last Guests. Do not recommend this Place unless you arrive while someone is still at the Front Desk and you reserve a Room From 1-10.
Easy check in and checkout. Only gave staff 3 stars because a N.A. wasnât available- we never saw anyone- keys were left out in envelope for us and we used the key drop on the way out - easy peasy . Location was perfect for our needs. WiFi was weak and we had better LTE but room was clean and warm which was great. It had just snowed the day before but the parking lot was still a bit messy - thankfully we had boots . Plenty of food options near by and appreciated the welcome letter from the hotel outlining local places . Thank you -
A room not much bigger than the bed. No place to put luggage. No hangers. Hole in seal next to air conditioner. Bathroom down the hall - had not been expecting that. An incredibly poor room.
Not what I ever expected to purchase from Hotels.com. Future business doubtful.
It was quiet from outside noise but not from inside noise. Didn't like not seeing anyone at the front desk and transactions were in envelopes on the counter.
The Whitetail is a gem of a little place. We stayed upstairs in the original house with a shared bath in the hall. The room was super cute and comfortable. Both were very clean. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short.
