Nice Hostel with no Reception
The location is very good. Expensive for a hostel with no reception, but overall, i felt the process worked very well. I had my own bright room with fan.
I had the worst experience of my life with a booking through your website. Thinking that a hostel might have a night manager, I couldn't reach anyone by the phone on the confirmation, I called long distance for the enter code for the door and all I could do was to leave a voice recording. The building was difficult to find with no indication on which button to press at the interphone. It was ink dark everywhere and no wifi access to look up references. I felt like a loser after 18 hours of flights and had nowhere to rest. With the suitcases on masaic cobblestone sidewalks I went around the blocks and all I could get is 'completo' from the hotels and hostels around. On the next day, I was able to look up the emails that Hotels.com who sent me the code and that somehow was in my junk file. I am a fair person and I think it could have been faults of of 3 parties: your web that didn't allow us to choose a place where no night duty personnels are around; the hostel should have someone to answer the call because that number was even posted at their apartment door; my fault also for not checking at your emails because as a regular customer I receive about 10 emails from you every week so i don't check at all after printing the confirmation. My conclusion is I'm not able to rate the place simply because I didn't even manage to get in.
