The fotos are nothing revealing of the hostel, it is very bad and very suspicious. The cleaning is terrible, there was food on the floor, the walls needed painting, the reception was very bad, there were three people drinking beer ate the time and it seemed like it was a pub of bad reputation. The bathroom was very small and needed cleaning, we slept on a blanked that we took with us and we didn't use the toilet OU shower at all. The worst is that the pictures are nothing revealing of the hostel, it is very worst.

This property is so beautiful and clean. It is so close to many activities and main areas. The staff is outstanding to work with and have been super helpful in many ways. The views are outstanding as well!

a convenient and welcoming stay

This place was pretty bare bones, but had a great atmosphere and location. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, as were the other patrons, although we had a private room and didn’t talk with them much. Many of the main attraction in Lisbon were an easy walk away. I would definitely stay her again.

The guy at the reception was really friendly but I had no idea that place was a kind of republic place, otherwise I’d never stay in there. I went there really just to sleep for few hours but really, toilet was extremely dirty, kitchen was really dirty, very strange people in there, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, mattress was like if you took it from the streets, so dirty. I always stay in hostels around the world where I’m visiting sharing rooms either with 30 people but really sorry, that place was really bad. ☹️

Great hostel

The staff is very friendly speak numerous languages. I haven't stayed in a hostel with the breadth of amenities this one had. The pool was great and the bar area downstairs was a great place to meet and interact with people. The terrace on the top floor gives a great view.

One time visit.

In the historic area of Lisbon, it is close to transportation, small grocery stores, and tours. The building, being old tends to have mold and my bathroom while clean had mold growing. A man who works there had a very foul mouth, whereas the ones at the front desk were very helpful. Had to go to second floor for decent WiFi reception. Eclectic.

very convivial place

the recepcionist immediatly put myself at ease, as if i were at my place. At first sigth, guests seemed very satisfied with the environment and everyone felt at home, very relaxed.

For the price, other hostels are more worth it.

The double room we booked is extremely small and no where close to what listed in the photos. We learnt other guests left without staying as the room is not as what in the photo. The area near the room window is always wet due to moisture. The cupboard in the room has a stench. The kitchen area is messy with used utensils. The lock on toilet and shower cubicle foldable doors are faulty. Wifi on the 3rd floor is not working. Another guest staying there got bitten by bed bugs. Breakfast (though the same everyday) is alright with bread, ham, cheese, oat, juice and coffee. The stairways is dark during the night as it is always on timer mode, probably less than 60 secs. When you arrive at night, don't be shock by the lack of light.
