Honestly The town is in poor condition and very rundown. The hotel is historically interesting but needs major renovations. Interesting shops . Would I make a special trip there ? No. Beautiful untouched countryside and mountains. You really have to use your imagination if you want to see a Pollyanna town . Good movie !

The shower temperature was either scalding or ice cold. Breakfast is a cold continental. It's an old building which is part of the charm. However the circular stair case slants down with low railings. Plan accordingly.

Location is perfect. The building takes you back in the 1850s. We loved it. Room was clean. We went for the experience and we were happy with it. If you prefer modern style, this is not a right match for you. Breakfast was inexistent: coffee, tea and packed sweets. The breakfast option should not be advertised or upgraded to meet minimum standard.
