Okay but not suitable for longer stays

Room was very cold, heating wasn't working - they are currently doing refurb works so think that may have been part of the problem. Staff were on the whole very friendly and helpful. There could be more consistency in service however - most staff didn't charge to make a cup of tea for instance but one morning another member of staff did charge so very much depends on who you get! Convenient that it's a few mins walk from the city centre.

Overall it was great for the price. But they did start doing hallway construction at 7am which was super loud. And despite having the do not disturb sign on the door someone walked in while we were getting dressed and they didn’t even knock.

Booking this hotel, I questioned paying £80 for four adults on a Friday night ahead of a Mersyside Derby. However, we got there, the location is very central, the hostel was clean in itself, the lift looked a final destination style life. The room we got was great and exactly what I'd expect for £80 but clean, tidy, good spacious bathroom. Well worth the money we paid and would definitely return. Staff were not overly talkative but if thats my downfall from an £80 (£20pp) stay then so be it.

Not like it used to be, but I think they are doing it up stayed here when it was selina and happened to have shared room, and was so good considering sharing! This time had a double bedroom, but wasn’t great, shower room not clean, architrave missing, fine for a one night stay but not like the pictures. Staff are friendly though.
