Breakfast range was good. Staff friendly. Hotel in fantastic location and is clean and very modern. Could have had more vegan/veggie options on their a la carte menu though which prevented us from eating there in the evening.

Perfect location for our visit to Ljubljana. Canal view through our window. Lively activity outside the window, but when you shut the window you could not hear the street activity. Great bed and terrific shower. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We would book again.

Great location but not directly accessible by taxi ( 4/5 min walk required) but once there the location is fantastic. Staff are great and the breakfast is fine i would certainly recommend this hotel.

Mixed Feelings - Hit and Misses

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On some levels it met my expectations and other times it was a disappointment. Strict welcome - room not ready at 1.30pm. Fair enough as check in is not till 3pm. Even though a couple before me got their room. Luck of the draw. Sign a waiver that they are not responsible for luggage you leave with them. Didn't make me feel terribly confident. Check in at 3pm and room is ready. But it wasn't really as housekeeping had left previous guests' shampoo & body wash bottles in the shower & an odd slipper under a chair. I couldn't be bothered to get them to come up again as after a long international connecting flight, I just wanted a bed to sleep. Room was fine. Minimalist design that is looking a bit tired now with wear and tear. The bed was very comfortable though and that's the main thing. Breakfast - Good with choices. Coffee machine did not work the whole time, so they had to help make. Ran out of croissants and told that would be 30-40 minutes for more. Some options not available, but some were and were good. And it was included in the rate so always appreciated, Service was ok. Put me off trying out for dinner though as I just didn't have the confidence that would be great. It's a good central location in the old town right on the river with a side street. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Roof top deck with a very small plunge pool. It's a perfectly fine hotel that probably just needs a bit of TLC and improved service.

Great hotel with lovely staff.

It is a lovely little hotel in the old part of the city. Next to the river. The young man who checked us in (and out) was really helpful and lovely! Our room was number 33. It’s a good size and very nicely decorated. The bedding and bathroom were super clean which is great. Comfortable bed and pillows. There were a lot of cobwebs in the room (which I didn’t like!) the tv only had two channels that were working and the kettle didn’t turn itself off but apart from that, it was great! Breakfast was very good. A choice of hot food alongside breads and pastries. The waitresses weren’t great with allergens (allergic to cheese). We ordered one ham omelette and one ham and cheese omelette and I got the one with cheese (she said it was without cheese). I always double check so didn’t eat it until I’d inspected both! I would definitely stay here again-all the negatives I’ve mentioned were really minor so would recommend this place.

Good experience - great location

Pool was nice when it was very hot. Room was nice and good size (we paid s bit more to get better room). Hallways dark and tight. Breakfast ok but service slow. Location is good.

Wonderful hotel in the center of action

We just loved this hotel, right on the river surrounded by outdoor restaurants, easy walk to the castle funicular), markets, shops. Rooms are big, wonderful breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff.
