Smoke smell in non smoker room. Hotel staff right away provided another room. Cochroach in bathroom. Pointed out to hotel staff. They apologized and said they would take care of it.

It was all around disappointing. There was a $300 deposit which was 3 times the price of the room. I expect a deposit but nothing that high. Then we got in to the room and it was lacklustre and outdated. We tried to connect to the WiFi and it said there was no connection. We talked the the staff at the front desk and he said we would probably have to restart the router. A router that we do not have access to. When we told him that it was, oh yeah i guess i have to do that. The phone rang and he said he would get to it. We left 15 minutes later and we still did not have WiFi. When we got back from the event we went to, 4 hrs later. There still was no WiFi. It was finally up in the morning when we were getting ready to leave. The breakfast in the morning was disappointing

When we booked, we indicated 5.......5 people in the room. There were 2 bath towels for 5 people!!! Every time we go to a hotel, we obviously indicate the number of people in the room.........and we NEVER actually have sufficient supplies in the bathroom. Also with 5 people in the room, there were no linens for the hide a bed......we had to go and get them. When we were outside the building, there were people hanging out in the parking lot that looked pretty sketchy and some were clearly wacked out on something......thus a slightly unsafe feeling......

Good little place to stop for a night in Lloydmins

We decided to try Gold Circle nased on reviews online. Sometimes we stay ovwrnight on the was to Saskatoon. The front desk people were just lovely and pleasant, and all around welcoming. The room was okay, but it had everything we needed for a comfy sleep. Unfortunately we had someone above us who seemed to be pacing all night long with very heavy feet so we didnt get the best sleep - old hotels are never soundproof. We could not figure out how to get the faucet working in the bathtub/shower combo, but since it also looked a little gross we decided to not even ask for help and just skip it. The breakfast was decent, and we noticed the front desk person was looking after both the breakfast and the front desk. They worked as hard as they could on both duties.Overall a decent experience.

At first sight looks decent but the had little bugs crawling around the sink area. Also in the bathtub. The kitchenette sink had what looked like dried food and juice suck to it. Yhe front desk person had to come and clean it. Completely disgusting. Went to wash up and shower. There's two of us and had only one wash cloth.

The staff where excellent. Breakfast was decent for hotel breakfasts. Front landscaping needs redoing. Bathtub needs refinishing. Hotel was nice and quiet so we got good rest.
