First time I leave a reviewâŠbut this place was just perfect!! Loved everything - the space in the room, the lounge (perfect for working, or to take a drink!). For sure Iâll be back!
The room had bleached spots on the carpet, but seemed clean. When leaving l asked for a cab and was told to either use their direct line to order a cab that only accepts cash payments, or to download Uber. The reception refused to call a regular cab, sending me out to hail one in the rain.
The team were very nice and welcoming.
The room delivered as the photos showed.
Bed was comfortable, shower had good temperature and pressure.

Vennepar med stÞvallergi som fikk kraftig reaksjon under hele oppholdet. SvÊrt smÄ rom, hvor seng (120cm?) og bad tar opp 2/3 av plassen. Kun en svÊrt liten sÞppelbÞtte som stÄr i skapet pÄ badet. Ikke mulig Ä Äpne vinduer. Frokost er knapt godkjent. BrÞd, sÞt bakst, en enkel frokostblanding og tÞrr havregrÞt man kan lage med varmt vann. Av pÄlegg er det kun sÞte langtidsholdbare produkter som nutella, syltetÞy osv. Hadde hjulpet mye med bare noe ost eller skinke. Personalet var svÊrt hyggelig og behjelpelig, men stort sett en person som ordner resepsjon, frokost osv.
Internett fungerer fint, flere usb-kontaker for ladere, god dusj. Trygt og rolig omrÄde tett pÄ hovedgaten. Husk Ä bestille romvask fÞr kl 12.
Hadde desverre ikke valgt dette hotellet igjen.
This hotel is the worst I had in the whole UK trip. Only good thing is location, but rooms are super small. The manager is faking to be polite. However, the service is absolutely horrible in accommodating for change/refund. Originally booked for 4 nights but changed my plan to only stay for 3 nights on hotels.com. I contacted them multiple times to change the booking through hotels.com around a week before arrival, but they were never able to change the booking. Then I tried to talk to them in person at check in and almost everyday afterwards, saying I donât need the last day booking and need my money refunded. Also asked hotels.com to contact them to process my last dayâs refund. The employees was polite to help me, but the manager was very stubborn and told me itâs impossible to process my last dayâs refund because I booked through Expedia in their email, which is a different entity from hotels.com, which is absolutely nonsense. I felt discriminated as I was coming from Canada, and wasted around $300 CAD because of the slow and incompetent response by their employees. The 4.5 star review on Google feels like a scam. Iâd definitely not recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to UK.
Great stay. The lounge is a nice area to relax! Comfy bed. Fun lighting in the rooms.
I wish there was a place (either in the lounge area or in the room) to heat up food or put leftovers in a refrigerator.
