The room is small and the bedsheets and comforter has some kind of stain. When I ask to replace it the desk said they don’t do that unless we stayed for the whole week. Ask for a clean and I thought it will be done when I come back in the afternoon the housekeeper knocked about 4 pm and just gave us a fresh towel and I said come back in 10 minutes with the young housekeeper seems not happy hearing that and didn’t showed up but when I ask at the desk they do rectify. Some young receptionist sometimes seems not happy when you ask for favor as it shows on their face. However some are really friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea in receptionist available for guest. Stay is fine but probably will not stay again if I come back in London.

London Baby! It was a great hotel in a great location. Great breakfast and the 24/7 hot drink selection was a big hit.

The room was clean enough but it felt like a prison cell. I understand the concept having stayed at a CitizenM, but alt least CitizenM had personality. The room was dingy and wallpaper was peeling. There was rarely any staff in the lobby. They don’t have coffee makers I they rooms but it’s free 24/7 in the lobby. It would be helpful if they provided take away cups since you otherwise have to carry and open mug of coffee back up to your room. I am shocked at how high the reviews were, the people who stayed there have clearly low expectations. The one good thing was the location very close to the Tower and easy transport.

Very nice hotel, but several room inconveniences.

Trendy, fresh, & very clean hotel. Professional & friendly staff. Great location ... short walks to bus stops, Thames, attractions, shops, & restaurants. Room was nice, but w/ few amenities, inconvenient lighting, glitchy temperature controls, & lacked bathroom privacy. Amenities: Only 1 very small end table for personal items (cell phones, wallets, keys, cups/glasses, etc.) No boiler, coffee service, fridge, etc. Very small hanging-clothes space (enough for perhaps 2 jackets or 3-4 shirts/pants.) No night stands. Bed against walls on two sides, so one sleeper must crawl from foot of bed to sleep. Lighting: Light controls located by bed ... well-away from entry door. All room lights turn on full when entering the room. So if one person leaves the room early (say for exercise or coffee,) all lights come on upon re-enty, waking any sleepers. Also, no separate control for bathroom lights. Temp control: Thermostat would only hold set temp for perhaps 15-20 min, then revert (apparently) to a default temp. So had to constantly re-set control to maintain desired temp. Staff attempted to correct the control several times w/ limited effect. Bathroom: No separate bathroom light control & mostly-glass wall between bath & bed. So one must shower via night-light mode, or turn on room lights to shower (waking any sleepers.)

The rooms are very small but they are so perfectly designed for efficiency that they are comfortable. The high tech features in the room make the limited space very usable, and the modern design makes the room feel high end.
