Terrible staff

They charged £20 extra on top of my booking charges stating that I am checking in early , when I checked in using there website it did not ask for any money . It was very bad experience.

Did not like how the shower was with the water running straight to the floor and not the drain and would need to put a towel to soak up the water. The hotel was conveniently located to all shops and 10 min walk to the station which was perfect for me.

Barking IBIS is better

This hotel is noisy even with the complimentary ear phones. The windows do not drown out the noise and the road is busy until 3.30am with sirens regularly going off. There was no parking nearby and no where to park outside the hotel to drop off bags.

Good stay

We really like the Ibis at Stratford, non pretentious and clean. The breakfast is served at 6:30am which is great when we have swimming competition in LAC. The only downside is that the windows are not thick enough and in some rooms you can hear the noise. They should have ear plugs in every room, not as/if needed because you might find needing them in the middle of the night!

Good but food service could be alot better

The free drink was rly good and appreciated. We were given a token for free drinks when we arrived and they were very good when we had them. We went out for a meal and came back and ordered hot chocolate and icecream. They didnt have the icecream so we ordered the chocolate fondant. We had to wait 40 mins so i spoke to the bar. They bought the fondants out completely uncooked and without the ice cream and getting a refund was dificult. The breakfast was ok but sadly there was only orange squash and not orange juice, and the waffle machine was not set up properly so it was very dificult to make waffles.
