Great hotel, steps away from the Gloucester Road underground station. Service was to notch. We left our bags there before check-in. The room was nicely sized, clean, comfortable and worth the price. I’d recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I had an excellent stay at Ibis. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was excellent. The area is walkable, with currency exchange and the tube right outside the door. It's a wonderful property, I definitely recommend a balcony room. Thank you!

The room was a very good size for a small family in a great location. The bed was quite hard so may not be comfortable for everyone. We made good use of the nespresso coffee machine. Quite a lot of traffic noise at night. Would've been great if there had a been a mini fridge in the room so we could keep milk for our little one.

Misleading listing and unhelpful staff

The hotel room was significantly smaller than what is advertised. I asked the front desk about it and they said they only have a couple rooms that size and most guests get smaller rooms than they advertise. There wasn't enough space to walk around the sides of the bed or open the bathroom door more than a foot. The shower and sink drains were slow and backed up quickly. I asked if maintenance could fix the drains and the front desk ignored the request. The hot and cold lines were also backwards.

The little things that made it miserable

It was okay at best, arrived to a modern looking beautifully air conditioned reception, staff were friendly but didn’t give any info around breakfast times etc. Got to the room which was at 23degrees and air con set to lowest it could be, once we returned later in the night it had risen to 26degrees……… bathroom was clean and nice but had a drain smell to it, also shower had little water pressure. Balcony was nice addition although privacy screens both sides would have been nice. I noticed they tried charging my card in the middle of the night which confused me, turned out the receptionist at arrival charged the wrong amount, instead of apologising I was just told I had an outstanding charge to pay as if it was my fault! Also hotels.com booking said breakfast was included in the booking but when we arrived for breakfast we were told we hadn’t paid for it! All in all, the hotel was nice, modern and clean but too many little things let it down, I wouldn’t be rushing back to an ibis anytime soon.

Unfortunately my room was quite dirty, dust all over the cups teaspoons and tray they were on, dust on the ledge below the mirror in the bathroom, dirty toilet, dirty bathroom tap, hair on the bathroom floor, shower drain was removed and left on the shower floor not sure why. opened one of the long life milks and it was lumpy. Staff were very kind and friendly though on arrival and checking out. Walkable to Kensington gardens or some nice cafes

I like the interiors. Customer Service is great, very helpful staff. Most of all breakfast spread is fantastic! The establishment is very clean and orderly, and i love the interior of the room, the lobby, the breakfast area. Special mention is EVA, the lady the staff assigned at the breakfast area. She is very polite, friendly and accomodating. Excellent service!
