I had a really good stay at the Ilford Grand Hotel. I was there for one night by myself and the staff were absolutely amazing — genuinely some of the most helpful I’ve come across. They let me store my luggage before check-in, and even allowed my friends (who weren’t staying at the hotel) to leave their bags as well. They also held my luggage after check-out until the afternoon, which made the whole trip much easier. The room itself was clean and nicely presented. The main downside was the bed setup — two single beds pushed together that weren’t the most comfortable. There was also a random fridge on the floor plugged into the wall, which looked a bit out of place, but it didn’t cause any issues at all! One small inconvenience was that although the room had everything for making tea and coffee, there was no kettle provided. Luckily, there’s a coffee shop just a couple of doors down, so it wasn’t a big problem. Overall, great service and a pleasant stay — just a few minor things that could be improved! Would definitely consider staying again!

The room was small but reasonably clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities and shower gel/shampoo supplied. There was a basic continental breakfast included. The mattress was uncomfortably hard. We had a long check-in process because of a mix-up. It was not an expensive stay so overall reasonable value for money. I probably wouldn’t return - I feel it would be better to spend a little more at the Travelodge.

Great staff, location, breakfast, and hotel except for really hard beds. I was looking forward to leaving the hotel because sleeping on the Stonehenge doesn't lead to good rest.
