Bare bones accommodation. REALLY small rooms, no mini fridges in the room, no utensils at the front desk, etc. staff was nice and did what they could do but helpful where possible. And It’s cheap and a modern build so decent accommodation. And hey they give you a couple water bottles and tea bags in the room.

Perfect hotel for a short stay! I needed a room for an overnight stay so booked a single room. The room was small but perfect for what I needed. It was very clean and I felt safe, comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Only a five minute walk from King’s Cross and Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived to check in the receptionist just continued there phone call (it clearly wasn’t a customer call). I’m not overly worried by this, it’s annoying, especially as I was tired but the big problem came next. Finally he gives me a room key, I go to the room, someone is already using that room. I go back, he spends ages faffing around trying to figure out what went wrong while I’m tired waiting for a room, calls his boss to find out what’s happened and to ask what room I can go in - all while I wait, instead of just giving me any available room. I find the whole thing concerning, how can they give a key to a room someone else is already in. It’s a huge danger. I then was worried the rest of the night someone random might come into my room, I had the suitcase wedged between the door and the bed. At check out the receptionist barely said anything, didn’t ask how my stay was and when I asked about luggage storage just said I can leave it in the reception, no tags or security. I’ve used the hotel a number of times before but never again. It no longer feels safe.

The hostel staff were friendly, helpful and professional. At first the area around the property looked a little sketchy, but just down the street are two VERY popular asian restaurants, an Italian restaurant, and around the corner, there is a very popular Vietnamese Restaurant. Smokers are a dirty lot and leave their butts on the sidewalks and it makes the area look dirty. The sidewalk in front of the hostel should be swept more often. Inside the hostel, everything was nice and clean.
