Overall it was good. But one thing for improvement was that the Guest Service call line never worked, I had been calling for more than 10 times, nobody picked up the phone. I had told the Front Desk, but still nothing happened

Terrible experience

We booked the Mayfair Executive Suite and they only gave us the Mayfair Suite. We asked for high floor away from the elevator and they gave us low floor right next to the elevator. The suite was dirty and dusty inside. The suite bedroom had hooks to hold both heavy swinging doors that don’t stay open and slams shut every time with any movement a dangerous hazard for young children and elderly. These swinging doors are for commercial use and have no place in a suite hotel. The shower leaked. The iron in the room was a fire hazard with all the teflon peeled off and burned a hole in my clothing. We called to speak to the manager everyday for 5 days in a row and they never responded always saying someone will get back to you and every time we ask they pretended they did not know what the problem was and then said the iron was in good condition and working and blamed us for using it without water and not looking at the clothing label. They continued to lie and never answered our requests to resolve the problem. They have terrible customer service. If someone is asking to speak to the manager the problem should be responded to and answered not ignored. The hotel is crowded with lots of business guests and conferences a very busy environment in the common areas and hallways. The air smells in the entire hotel and there is no circulation. They should not be classified as a 5 star hotel. At best this is a 3 star hotel. There are other 5 star hotels that are superior to this place.

Second stay at the Hilton Park Lane, could not fault a thing! Quick and easy check in, the duty manager Abdul was, kind, polite, informative and extremely helpful! Room was clean and spacious. Location outstanding, I would definitely stay again!
