Excellent cleanliness. However, many Nino issues, taken together, made my review go to 3 stars versus 5
1) despite requesting texted communication the host relied on the app. I do not travel with data and I had to buy data, make an account, etc to access the home.
2) the home wasn’t ready on time, but this was only a 30 minute delay.
3) bedding for the children’s area/pull out was delivered well after the kid’s bed time and only upon request, though the host knew we were a party of 5.
4) the bbq was inoperable. We fixed it for the homeowner (buying parts). We were compensated for the parts but we still had to do a store trip and borrow propane from the neighbours to cook our planned food.
5) the backyard grass was nearing knee high.
Taken together this resulted in the only negative review I’ve given in almost 100 vrbo type experiences. I’m sure this will be as it’s intended - instructive to the host to do better. It’s certainly 5 star potential.
