Loved this flat!

We really enjoyed our stay. The communication with George was very good and the flat was clean and spacious for my husband and me. The location was perfect for us as it was near our family, but it was also close to buses and plenty of supermarkets. We would definitely refer friends and stay again.

It was ok

This was the end of a long trip. We decided to stay in London for 4 nights. The apartment in up 4 flights of stairs, we were not aware of this, we were able to drag our large suitcases up but wasn’t easy. The apartment was nice. The owner left a lot of personal belongings , his clothes food
. He did clean out a drawer and pushed some clothes aside so we would have some space. Kinda like staying at a friend or relatives house. The bedroom has a noisy air conditioning. The rest of the place is not air conditioning which I understand but with the windows open there is noise from the busy street. There are stores and restaurants if you like long walks. We were told if the neighbors asked we had to say we were friends or relatives staying over. Not sure why we were told to lie, not comfortable being placed in that kind of position. Fortunately none of the neighbors asked. We had an issue with one of the sinks drain plugs not opening which he later charged us $70 to fix! All in all it was ok, not the best place we have stayed in. Will not be returning.

Excellent, quiet, comfortable, convenient location! We loved it!

Perfect location for my wife and me for a week of London (and beyond) sightseeing. Located a short 5-10 minute walk to some of the best pubs, restaurants (highly recommend Hunter’s Moon), attractions, and museums in London. Also two tube stations are just a short walk away to access anything else you’d want to see. At the end of our busy days we were so glad to relax and rest up in such a comfortable flat. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Neighborhood is the quietest we’ve visited in London. Love the Kensington area! We’d move there if we could and will plan a longer stay here in the near future. George was a spectacular host. Very good communication. He checked in on us periodically just to make sure we had all we needed. Very responsive. We highly recommend staying here for any couples looking for a relaxing quiet retreat that’s close to the action. We’ll stay here again for sure.

We loved our stay here. A perfect home base for a visit to London: convenient to the tube, quiet and calm, tastefully decorated and arranged, everything we hoped for. Slept very well in the comfortable bed as well -- very important asset for two jetlagged New Yorkers.

Great stay

Very comfortable and well equipped flat in terrific neighborhood, with lovely garden views and easy access to restaurants, shopping and transportation. This was our first vrbo rental and we were quite pleased with the experience.

Great Location and Beautiful Flat

This flat is located in a beautiful and convenient location. We walked everywhere we went. Jorge made the check-in very easy. We were also able to check-in early which was very much appreciated after a long flight from the US. I would highly recommend the property. It is perfect for a couple! I will keep this property in mind on any returns to London.

Great Stay in London

This is a truly wonderful property in South Kensington. The location is central to transportation, and all the services one needs are around the block. The apartment was very clean, roomy, and it had everything we needed to be comfortable. The owner clearly wants to help his guests. All communication was clear, and easy. We hope to return soon.

Brilliant in every way

Jorge’s flat was everything we hoped. It was located in a quiet area with immediate access to anything you could possible need. Two underground stations within 10 minutes walking (purchase an Oyster card and download their app) that are the gateways to anywhere you need to go in London. There are multiple restaurants along those walks and on other nearby streets. The area is peaceful. You will see families walking their dogs and taking their children to school. The flat was as described. It is a walk up 3 flights of stairs though. Comfortable bed for the weary travelers. The bedroom has an air conditioner that came in very handy due to some record high temps. Would definitely stay here again. It truly was in the middle of everything without being in a load touristy area. Jim and Tracey

Perfect stay and great location

We stayed a week in London. The first half we were in a hotel in a very touristy area, and decided we wanted a more local feel for the second half of our visit. We made the right choice with George's place! It was a great location - one street away from cute markets and larger grocery stores. The flat had everything we needed and was really comfortable. The photos and description were just as advertised. The bathroom situation was interesting, but really nice. The bath/shower and a sink are in one; then the toilet and another sink are in another room. It was great for two people getting ready at the same time! Stairs up to the flat might be a challenge for some, but we chalked it up to a bonus workout with our suitcases! We would highly recommend this for a couple, or even for an individual looking to explore Kensington and Chelsea. Also - a great set up for working at the desk in the living area...complete with a lovely view of the garden and beautiful church across the street. Thanks for the great hospitality, George!

South Kensington Amazing Apaetment

What can I say! We loved the apartment. It is beautifully furnished , but at the same time homely and so welcoming. We had everything we wanted, from incredible linen and towels to even the smallest detail.The apartment is faultless, has lovely views of the private garden and church. The owner was absolutely delightful and amazingly helpful. The location is fabulous. I have stayed in many places, I have to say this fits into one of the best. We will definitely book this apartment again!

Love this place

if you know the area, you know exactly how well located this is. Sure it's not right on top of a tube stop, but it's still just a short work and their is great bus service. In exchange, you get a fabulous quiet neighborhood and a property overlooking a private garden. with a terrace. Awesome in the summer I imagine. The space itself is very very nice. The living room is perfectly suited for 1/2 people and the bedroom is actually very large. George was super accomodating as a host. I'll be back.

Perfect Stay in a Perfect Location

Could not recommend a stay in George’s flat more! I stayed for about a month so I got to know the place quite well, and it really started to feel like a home away from home! Also, there is access to the garden behind the building (which is also a terrific view). And on top of all that, it’s such an easily walkable location (Kensington Gardens, Chelsea, the Thames) and so easy to drive or take the train wherever you need to go. If you’re unsure, do it!! I’m sure it’ll feel like home to you too!!
