Great transport

Comfortable hotel just over the road from Gloucester Road Station, so very convenient for getting around London. Attractive historic architecture & not over modernised & still retaining some lovely period details. The lift is fine, the rooms are clean & comfortable & the staff pleasant & helpful. Good continental breakfast, with wide selection of fruits, pastries, cereals etc. Delicious on site Indian Restaurant.

Perfect for a solo traveler! Small but comfortable room with private en suite with bathtub/shower. Included refrigerator, safe, iron/ironing board, hair dryer and TV. Across street from grocery, underground and close walk to Royal Albert Hall, Kensington shops, and Hyde Park. Would definitely recommend!

A convenient place to stay when coming from Heathrow as only a few minutes walk from Gloucester Rd tube station. I had a single room. I think some thought had gone into the interior design of the room. Liked the gold wallpaper & the chandelier effect central lamp. Nice to be able to open windows. Can watch people walking on street below. Surprisingly quiet in the room & sleep well here.

Booked a double room - got one adjoining the public ladies room, which was quite inconvenient for a guy. 👎 The double room itself was tiny, with barely any space to walk around the bed on any side and had to squeeze through the furniture for e.g. to use the bathroom. 👎 Otherwise, the room was clean. With air conditioning in the British summer, sleep was peaceful and quiet (other than the public restroom usage). 👍 Standard in-room amenities, hot water, good room service, clean linen and towels, usable Wi-Fi - well done there on the basics. 👌 Breakfast was a mixed bag - staff in the restaurant are friendly and it was nice to be welcomed with a smile. 😊 Both days I stayed, I requested for the omelettes to be fully cooked when ordering, so the yolk isn’t runny/flowy/uncooked. 🍳 First day, it came back done really well - I enjoyed the breakfast. Day 2, omelettes came back super runny, perhaps the cook overlooked the request. Took it back and brought back super runny again after 15 mins. I left the breakfast on the table and was late for my work. For those who like runny omelettes, the full English breakfast at the price is worth it. 👍 Will I visit again? Probably, hoping the room isn’t next to the public loo, and I can have my breakfast elsewhere with many options around. The room price was just slightly less than Radisson Blu next door. Giving them 4 stars out of 5.

Would use again

The chap on reception was lovely. Our room was nice, clean, comfortable. The hotel was quiet with little road noise or noise from other guests. I’d definitely stay here again!
