We stayed at this Courtfield apartment for 3 weeks in September. The location was very goodâa 10 minute walk to an underground station and grocery store, with a good variety and number of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The apartment was on a quiet street in the back of the building so it was very quiet. Being on the ground floor gave us easy access to a beautiful private garden. While the photos of the apartment were accurate, the description was not. The kitchen was frustrating to use during our stay. It was not well stocked, with an odd number and assortment of plates, silverware, and glassware. We washed everything by hand because there wasnât enough to fill a dishwasher. Pantry items seemed like haphazard leftovers. The refrigerator needs to be repaired or replaced. The bathroom was also frustrating. It was impossible to keep a constant temperature in the bathroom shower as well as the sink. The toilet took some getting used to. Overall, the apartment needs a deep clean and attention to detail. The rug had been vacuumed but there were stains, and many surfaces hadnât been dusted in a while. When we arrived the ironing board was set up in the living room and there were only two functioning lamps in the apartment and no power source on one side of the bed (these were quickly addressed by the manager). This apartment probably works well for a short stay. While the manager was responsive there didnât seem to be a focus on being anything more than good enough.
