The staff are excellent, the bar is cosy, the location is great. The hotel is getting on in years and it shows in places (frayed carpets in the hallways, broken bathroom fixtures in the lobby), but overall it’s a great place to stay in Central London. Very convenient for the tube and loads of restaurants.

There seems to have been a considerable change of staff since we last stayed at the St Martin’s Lane hotel. Unfortunately we now feel service isn’t as good as previously. Our main complaint with this hotel is that we are never offered an upgrade and we assume this is because we book through Expedia. On a more positive note, the hotel is in a great location.

it’s very conveniently located and everything was easily accessible via subway, bus and taxi. We walked to most of the places. Staffs were very nice and tried to accommodate us as much as they could. Room was clean. Only thing that I was not satisfied was the size of the bed. Queen size or double size was a little tight for two people. Coming from California, I thought the shower was amazing. Great water pressure that I have not seen anywhere in CA!! That alone was worth the stay!

Really nice hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Shower has excellent water pressure and the water is hot. The room layout is nice. The Blind Spot bar is also very very nice to have a drink. I highly recommend.
