The toilet did not flush efficiently. Had to have housekeeping to unclog it once. But it rarely flushed fully. Unpleasant. Unsure why we had to keep requesting morning coffee packages in the room. If you provide it the first day, why not just keep providing it? Front desk helped with plug situation by providing an extension, but it was awkward. Why not have electrical outlets at the bedside? Many people besides us need power there, for CPAPs etc.

The plumbing in our room did not work. The sink and bath did not drain, the toilet did not flush very well. Also, the room was dark. Despite being a double, we only had one lamp. The TV remote, like most hotel TV remotes, was not responsive unless pressed many times. The door to the room did not catch properly and needed to be pulled shut, which led to the being unlocked one day after it had been cleaned. Staff were good.

I was not given the room I booked for, had problems with the keys to get in the room, downgraded room was given to me and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the refreshments were not replaced accordingly every morning. My daughter had back pain sleeping on the sofa bed. 😔

Yes, Stamford Bridge Hotel is a very good hotel and all of the staff who we interacted with were extremely good, however It is solely because of Kamilya who is a friendly, kindhearted, polite, respectful and extremely professional person that to us as a family that Stamford Bridge is thee BEST HOTEL IN THE WORLD and the thee ONLY Hotel myself and my family will ever stay at whilst in London, whether that be for a Chelsea match or any other visit and I will be highly highly advising all my friends, family and former work colleagues that should they find themselves travelling to London for any overnight stays, then Stamford Bridge Hotel is the best and only place to stay. Finally I would like to say a huge “THANK YOU” to both Kamilya and the extremely smart person who hired her. We as a family look forward to many more stays at Stamford Bridge Hotel.

The whole hotel was spotless, staff really friendly & helpful. Bar area a bit small but ample. Restaurant was lovely, great choice of food for breakfast. Only issue was no shower gel in the bathroom & toilet took ages to refill after flushing

Room was a throwback to the 70’s, drab old fashioned furniture. The toilet had the weakest flush of any hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The shower was still a bathtub shower with a shower CURTAIN for goodness sake!! That’s worthy of a 2 star hotel, not a wannabe luxury hotel. On the plus side … the price we paid was excellent for a central(ish) London stay. Breakfast was adequate if a tad pricey, and all staff we encountered were extremely happy and helpful.
