My stay was all around great. The room was perfect - spacious & clean - with a great shower. Staff was super helpful & genuinely nice with a good sense of humor. Location was excellent with many attractions, restaurants & pubs in walking distance. Also, Victoria Station & 3 tube lines within a short walk. Safe & quiet neighborhood.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS We stayed for one night en route to France. We were given a basement room which was small but adequate for 1 night only. It was clean but had a slight smell in the shower room. During the night this smell (like raw sewage) became unbearable and at 3am we reported this at reception. The person at reception came to the room and agreed that it was a dreadful smell. He tried to help by offering to clean the en suite which we declined as it was already very clean and the fault was that it was clearly coming back through the extract ventilation system. ( I am a retired Architect and have had experience of this before). We were offered another room, a single room, where we could escape the smell but could not sleep, as it only had one small single bed. We are in our seventies. We left at 6am by which time the same smell was occurring in this second room. He said he had fully reported the situation to the hotel manager, who was coming in later that day. I ask if we could have a full refund. He said that the hotel manager would contact me later. Surprise, surprise no communication forthcoming despite my e-mailing him the same morning and a later follow up. Apart from the man on reception, who tried his best, the other staff who tried to help on other matters also had limited authority to assist us. The hotel owner/s appear to set customer comfort at a very low bar.

Room was so small that you had to bend forward to shimmy by the beds so you did not hid your head on the wall tv…no elevator and not explained at booking. Shower stall was very slippery, needs non-slip strips on the floor of the shower. Not a good bargain. Would not recommend. Going back to London next year, will stay in the area but not at this hotel. Must be carful the pipes in the shower become very hot when taking a shower…burned my hand as I grabbed to prevent from slipping. Need shower handles. Not a good stay….$880 for 4 nights.

My room wasn't ready when I arrived late in the afternoon, but Aniket, the front clerk at the time, was very friendly and kind to explain the situation. He offered me complimentary breakfasts at a nearby sister motel.

Adequate room for short stay

Helpful reception staff. Comfy nice size bed. Heating/air con not working at night so was cold in room. Carpet was really dirty/marked. Needs changing! Shower pressure low. Windows so thin noise outside was like there was no window there. Noisy from guests at night. Can hear every creak of floorboards in other rooms.

Lovely little hotel! It was clean and staff were helpful. We were on the top floor - lots of stairs. My only complaint is the room was very warm. We couldn’t cool it off even with the window open. (can only open 2 or 3 inches) Room is small.

I won’t be staying again. After an exhausting journey the receptionist refused to check me in as it was not yet 3pm. It was 2.10pm. When I walked back just after 3pm he was walking down the road- shift had finished- thankfully I hadn’t burdened him with any paperwork. The second receptionist was fine and showed me my very cramped room.
