Overall the stay was fine. However, upon check in I didn't feel very welcomed. Maybe the check in staff had had a rough day? They filled my request of a ground floor room so I didn't have to lug my suitcase up stairs. The room itself was fine however very small. It was hard to open my suitcase. Positive note- the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I had on my travels. One small thing to note for travellers - the step into the hotel itself is reasonably high from the footpath. Especially with a heavy large suitcase.

Hotel okay for 1 night. Building works across the road affecting our sleep. Bathroom very small. Hotel breakfast is in a different hotel along the road, so we had to adjust our timings to accomodate. This wasn't mentioned on hotel info. Breakfast was good though.

Smelly and uncomfortable

The smells in the rooms are horrible and there is no air conditioning. Very uncomfortable room with a disgusting bathroom. It is a maze of multiple stair cases to get to your room and you can hear everything from the other rooms.

We got upgraded to a room on the ground floor based on our luggage and the difficulty getting it to higher floors. This was so kind and thoughtful and we really appreciated this after our full day of travel. The staff were so accommodating and the room was perfect.

Very easy walking distance from St Pancras which is what we wanted when arriving after 10pm. Nice room for what we needed
