Although the hotel was really busy it felt quiet around the room area and I had an undisturbed nights sleep.
Clean room but some maintenance issues with the bathroom #3210
I stayed in the sister hotel next door earlier in the year while this was being renovated. Its nice to see it complete and it looks great. The 3 occupancy room was ideal for us as a family and was well equipped and comfy.
Paid a bit extra for breakfast which was really good and good value
The shower wasnt the best and tricky to get the temperature right. And there was a fire alarm at 2am which wasnt much fun standing outside for an hour. Would have expected some sort of compensation for this
Excellent for taxi drop off etc
Staffed really well. Breakfast had a really good choice of hot and cold foods Room very clean and tidy although one of our three beds wasn’t made up on one day which we found odd Really good value And on a whole would definitely recommend
Very clean no frills hotel in an excellent location
This hotel is very big and very busy There are a lot of groups coming and going. On Friday night there was very loud music until 10PM. The ambiance is that of a college dorm. The staff is very helpful.
The good things about this hotel are: walking distance to The British Museum and easy connection to major bus routes. This is a very basic hotel. There is no AC. In the middle of the night we heard significant scratching noises behind our television. We reported it and whatever it was either was found or never came out again. The bathtub is slippery and put us all in fall-risk so be careful climbing out. The hotel staff is undertrained, rude, and uninterested in helping customers. You can tell they are unhappy to be working there. Also the hotel seriously needs to add sitting areas in the lobbies as countless children were just sitting on the floor (there was a rugby match). I believe this was to encourage people to sit in one of the restaurants.
The room was good but no AC made it a bit stuffy. While the evening was cool enough, leaving the window open to a noisy street below was not an all night option.
Much, much better value than other big name hotels in the area. Convenient walk from Euston station. I didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that. At the price, no complaints.
