Perfect Location, Lovely Staff, great 4 theatre bk

Lovely stay, fab hotel in the centre perfect for after the theatre, we did check in late so had to wait for someone to let us in (only 2 mins so no issue there) and then find our reservation despite me putting on my notes when booking we would be coming after the theatre (in total took less than 10 mins so not a big deal but we were tired and it stops it being 5 star in every area) otherwise super helpful, and everyone was really friendly, lovely hotel, we will look to stay again next time we come to London

Overall, it was a very decent property in a great location just north of downtown London near the British Museum. The staff was always nice and professional. We do wish we could figure out how to turn on all of the lights in my room but a couple of lights did not seem to have a switch(?) or maybe they needed a new bulb? Also, you had to insert and leave a key card inside a slot near the door for any lights to work at all. Also a small refrigerator would have been really nice. Lastly, the shower door was only half size so water sprayed out occasionally. The tub was super deep and slippery so we should have gotten a shower mat (which they offered at the front desk) but non slip strips in the tub would be better and safe. They were very environmentally conscious.. which was nice. Overall.... 4 stars ****

Good hotel

Great hotel. Conveniently located. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast and lobby/bar area. Clean and comfortable bedding. However, carpet seemed dirty and there were cob webs around the bathroom door. Housekeeping knocked on the door multiple times when we had a Do not disturb sign. Some hallway doors are squeaky and hard to get through with luggage, but overall good hotel. We felt safe and comfy.
