Hotel is basic with very small rooms but comfortable. We got all what we needed: clean room, comfortable beds with soft pillows. Location is perfect close to the airport T5 which is possible to reach also with public bus 423. The only thing I didn’t like was check in experience , staff was not attentive and not helpful during self checkin process. This is something that could be improved.

The main negative about the hotel is something they can't really control and that is the amount of noise. Like other stayers I chose the Thistle as it was close to Heathrow Airport T5 and I had an early departure. However, there are people who must be catching much earlier flights and waking up earlier and being very inconsiderate of the noise they make so I was hearing loud noise from 3:30am. The room I was in could do with a general refresh, especially the bathroom and the water pressure was poor. I would probably check out the other hotels in the vicinity as they are just as convenient to the 423 bus I wanted to take to T5. The Thistle provided good information on the transport options to the hotel beforehand.
