The room was clean, the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, and there was a benefit for skipping room cleanings (for the environment) that could be applied at the restaurant in the lobby. The elevators were quick, and the noise level from the street outside wasn't too loud- it is right in SoHo, so there is a lot of activity all around the hotel, but I had no trouble sleeping or relaxing once in my room. I would definitely stay here again in a future London visit, especially if I was looking to see theatre shows or try the SoHo restaurants and shops again.

If you’re a total clean freak and can’t stay anywhere that’s not 100% spotless, this might not be the place for you. But if you want the best location in the city and an incredibly friendly and helpful staff, this hotel is perfect. The people working here make the experience truly great — and the spot couldn’t be better.

Thistle Trafalgar... Not the best

Paid extra for a "deluxe" room for a little bit of luxury. When we arrived we were given an accessible room, which, although was fine was anything but luxurious. When a shower was attempted in the wet room there was no hot water and the water was just dribbling out of the shower head. Complained to the staff who didn't really say a lot. Eventually managed to get transferred to another hotel across London. Staff arranged taxi which took over an hour to arrive despite continually telling us it was 5 mins away. We ended up checking into the Thistle at Marble Arch at around midnight which was 10x nicer than the Trafalgar Square one. Not exactly the most relaxing of experiences for a night away.
