Boutique hotel, King Chamber room was perfect for ok need. Standouts the incredible steam shower and water quality, my wife and I are sensitive to hard / treated water I suspect the hotel maybe using a water softener and filter system as it seemed very kind to put skin. Well done Virgin Hotel for doing everything right!

I have stayed in hotels in the same designer-upscale-but-chic category repeatedly before. I had great expectations for this hotel. Especially coming from the Virgin products' strong reputation. But this time, the experience fell short. From the moment of check-in the hospitality of the lady at the counter, offered no sense of welcome: not one smile, not even eye contact. I believe she didn't even know how to use the registering platform. The whole check-in felt 100% transactional. Then, the room and amenities were not bad, not close to what I have seen in similar hotels in London. The shower had so low-pressure that made taking a shower a sad experience. Other staff members were at least efficient -never amenable or friendly- but when I asked for additional water bottles, they were delivered instantly to my room. Overall, the stay was not that bad, but my point is that they could do so much better, considering their competition is now bodies ahead of them in London. And they should make a better effort to better represent the Virgin Brand. I would not stay in this hotel again. Money-wise, I know I can get much better attention and much better value in other hotels in this category in London.
