Our fire alarm went off from the steam from the shower so service had to come into the room. Then the thermostat didn't work so another staff had to enter the room. Later the thermostat didn't work again and it was not addressed.

Loved the room, views, bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly. There were a few events going on during our stay and when going to the bar area the wait was quite long to get drinks and food and there maybe should have been more staff on site.

DONT STAY HERE ⚠️ Terrible Service and Zero Accountability We stayed at Hotel Allegria and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. We paid $50 USD for overnight valet specifically because my wife is pregnant and we didn’t want her walking or stressing about the car. Not only did they never return the vehicle, but I had to walk to retrieve it myself the next morning—completely defeating the purpose of the valet service we paid for. To make matters worse, they’ve refused to issue a refund and won’t even respond to repeated requests for an itemized receipt. There are additional unexplained charges on my credit card from this hotel, and since they won’t communicate, we still have no idea what we were billed for. For a hotel that markets itself as upscale, the service was shockingly negligent, especially when it comes to accessibility and guest care. If you're expecting even basic courtesy or follow-through, let alone hospitality, look elsewhere.

The room was gorgeous. Pretty clean. There was a party next to us until about midnight. Walls were paper thin so we heard everything. For the amount of $$ paid for an ocean view I would expect noise to be under control.

First time here did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and helpful with walkable dining recommendations. The dining area at the hotel had good food and was very convenient as well. Beach chairs were a nice perk. The first visit impressed me and I will return. It’s nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops and the area seems safe and quiet at night too

This was my 2nd stay at Allegria this summer. It’s a pleasant experience and the rooms are clean and spacious including a large bathroom. The property is well maintained and cared for. Area around is mostly residential but it’s walkable to shops and restaurants and we love that not having to drive all over. Beach access is great and we also enjoyed the rooftop pool. Will definitely return next summer !

Average and expensive

Bed was comfy and room was big but very basic and dated. Walls were dirty. Attended a wedding, there was supposed to be a pre-booked after party, but the hotel had forgotten to book staff for the event. After a lot of negotiation and excessive cash being exchanged the bar remained open (bar staff were great, night manager seemed to be the problem). Fire alarm went off at 4.30am, everyone evacuated, told that it was a known faulty connection, 40mins later it went off again. Lifts were not restored and the emergency exits had locked. No staff present to assist people getting back to the rooms. No sign of compensation either, perhaps a complimentary breakfast at a minimum would have made sense for a known fault. Breakfast is pretty average
