Shell Cottage is a welcoming, light-filled holiday home with stunning views over the ocean and treetops in Long Beach, NSW. The house has been designed for families and travellers to relax and unwind in a coastal bush setting. This spacious property is perfect for large or extended family groups with sleeping arrangements for up to 9 people.

The sands of the stunning child-friendly and dog-friendly Long Beach shoreline is a mere 200 meters or two-minute stroll from your front door. Situated 10 minutes from Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast, 2 hours east of Canberra and 4 hours south of Sydney, this property is perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended beach holiday.

Long Beach is a 2km long white sand beach, facing northwest towards the Toll House Islands. Perfect for walking, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and snorkeling. You will never lack for activities in this gorgeous unspoiled part of the world.

Upstairs features two generous queen sized bedrooms, with relaxing leafy views making them the perfect place to rest and recharge after your daily adventures. There is an additional study/single room which can be made up for one additional guest (maximum 9) on request for an additional nightly fee, or is the perfect place to relax with views to the northern end of long beach.

Downstairs is a kids and teen haven, featuring a large combined bedroom and kids zone.

In the heart of the home, with leafy views to the northern end of Long Beach, is a generous modern kitchen and two living areas for guests to gather, eat and relax together. Your hosts have supplied many items to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. You will find many books and games throughout the living areas. There are three outside seating areas/balconies to relax, read or enjoy a meal.

Start your day with coffee and breakfast on the balcony, enjoying the gentle ocean breeze and watching the waves play on the sands and rock pools through the graceful gums. If you are feeling energetic, set out on the walk along the shoreline at low tide north, where you can explore hidden beaches and rock pools on your way to the charming coffee shop and bakery at Maloney’s Beach. Or enjoy a day on the water, exploring the bay in one of the two kayaks provided for guest use.

Venture out for a day exploring local walking tracks, swimming, boating, boutique shopping or enjoying the delicious food scene of the Eurobodalla area. Make family memories at the Mogo Wildlife Park, the brand new Aquatic Pavilions splash park and waters slides, or the excellent playground in the Botanic Gardens.

When you have had your fill of the amazing experiences of Long Beach and its surrounds, come home to watch the king parrots and rainbow lorikeets play in the gum trees as you unwind from the day, with the whisper of the waves on the sand settling you in for the evening.
