Boarding house type set up. Shared bathrooms and kitchen. Bedroom was very clean and set up with TV and sink although quite small. Walls paper thin woke up to people coming and going and coughing through the wall. Alright for one night.
We were desperate to find a place to stay after the Cook Strait ferry docked later than expected. Wellington booked out!
This place was run down, chewing gum behind the curtains, heater didnât work, and the womenâs shower wouldnât heat up! Shared bathroom facilities but we knew that when we booked. Restaurant and pub attached was quiet but the chef wasnât available. Front staff made us a toastie and was very helpful. Breakfast was good In the morning. Wouldnât recommend unfortunately.
Was very cosy place lovely man that owns it very friendly
Only 1 complaint i had and that is the walls are abit thin and had both sides snoring in my ear lol
Perfect for a quiet sleep, rooms back from road noise. Simple food menue that wont break your pocket. Locked nightly parking. Price on the higher side as a single traveler but for one night is okay. The kitchen is like home, bread, cerials, yogurt, (only strawberry) not for me and juice, apple in this case. Hot water coffee tea, all there.
