The Hotel was 2 star,staff were very nice and helpful. But ,outside was very very noisy because of the restaurant’s backyard .Not sure why there were many homeless, you can see many dirty stuff by the sidewalk.none of the stores do anything .street were so dirty and smelly which is no surprise it is LA.every where you can see that. the garbage collecting area caused strong smell .none of these were hotel mistakes. it is city mayor who doesn’t care about people’s health . Parking is another issue .

Don’t come here!

Not happy with this service at all. Pictures shown is not what you get at all. My family and I stayed at Air Venice hotel on the Beach. The front desk guy was extremely rude. Our check in time was 4pm and our room was not ready till 4:30. Upon arriving the place looked different as shown on the listing place is run down with pips on the ceiling. pips on the ceiling leaking during the night. It had gotten all over the bed and our faces. Such rude and terrible service definitely not worth what we had paid.

We had the most wonderful stay at Air Venice. Room was clean, large and had beautiful partial sea views. We arrived early and were able to leave luggage and go exploring the area which had a relaxed holiday feel and easy walking distance to Santa Monica along board walk. Hop on/off bus just a few minutes walk away to see all the Hollywood touristy sites. Lots of places to eat and souvenirs and street performers. Bikes/ scooters very popular. A big thank you to friendly Eunes at reception for being so helpful with suggestions. We had a late flight out so we’re able to leave bags again and enjoy last day. Convenient as only 30 min to airport, would stay again if in LA

Upon checking in the entrance and exterior smelled. The walls were very dirty and mold was seen and clearly visible around the property. We immediately left once we looked in the room.

Great location, but very noisy inside and out. Building is very old so there isn’t much for noise barrier and everything can be heard. Staff is extremely friendly and informative. Rooms could have been a little cleaner, there was black mold in the shower. The only overnight parking close by was $60/night.

Our room wasn’t the quietest but we were also in the first floor and could hear people outside our windows. I think if we would have been on a different floor it would have been better. But the location was perfect… lots of breakfast and brunch within walking distance.. the hotel is clean..

The hotel itself is very clean and secure, and although parking is not on-site, it is only about a 5 minute walk away. You are able to stop in front of the hotel for a short while to unload your suitcase and then go park the car, which we found convenient. The hotel is right on the boardwalk and the beach is accessible from the front door. The only issue we had (which was no fault of the hotels at all) is that there is a bar directly across the street that plays loud music and the windows are not at all soundproof (the hotel does provide ear plugs which was nice). A nice addition to the room would be blackout blinds so that the lights at night and the sun in the morning don't disturb your sleep. Overall, for the price, I would stay here again.

Wonderful price and an excellent location!

We stayed in room #1 ground floor with a separate bedroom from the studio. Loved the location. Staff was very nice and helpful. The parking was a little inconvenient but it is what it is. Excellent price for the room and location being so close to the beach and a pub right next door. The pub was NOT open late so it was not loud late at night. The bed comfort was horrible though. My back was so sore after a couple hours sleeping on that mattress that it woke me up and I had to sleep sitting in a chair and leaning on the dining table. I don't know if my back would have made it a 3rd night.
