As soon as I walked in lobby there was a strong scent of odor. Mind you we stayed in the king suite .It was not pleasant and smelled. The carpet needs to be cleaned and there was mats and flys in the immediate lobby entrance. There was several parts throughout the property that has mold. There was mold in our bathroom that was clearly covered up by paint. The bathroom door did not lock and the room was basic. You’re basically paying for the view. I was at the Crowne plaza prior to this for my son’s vacay and it was way more attractive and accommodating. I will not be returning.

I stayed here overnight for a cruise. I enjoyed my stay. My room was very clean and quiet and comfortable. That is a non negotiable for any hotel I stay at. There is a free shuttle to the cruise port and if you stay on Saturday or Sunday there is a free trolley that will pick you up from in front of the hotel and take you to many of the main attractions in San Pedro like museums, shopping, dining and the beach. I didn’t get any off I just enjoyed the tour (uncharacteristically cold weather then). Overall I highly recommend this for anyone who has relatively high standards for cleanliness and comfort. The hotel is not new but it is well maintained.

When I got here at the Double Tree Hotel I was not greeted as a Guest and by the the time I got to the room I found towels on the bathroom floor and dirty cups and bags and for the price the tub knobs were broken and I want be staying here ever again

Hotel was nice, we upgraded to a room overlooking the marina with a balcony. There is nothing around the area. One restaurant about 20 min walk away. No stores. There is a free aquarium also about a 15 min walk which we went to. We also did walk into town but there wasn’t much there either. Port o call village is no longer. Nice hottub but pool was freezing
