They didn’t disclosed to us building was under renovation. The worst part, the water was shut off when we arrived 3:20pm. It didn’t turn back on as the promised time. It’s noisy and heard the sound of drilling and etc, as I have to nap mid-afternoon. I’m a IHG member, didn’t expect this bad experience.

Property was under construction I was unaware at the time of booking. There was no hot water in the room. Breakfast was disgusting. I don't think this hotel was worth the $200 I paid per night.

Not the safest neighborhood. Indoor security inside hotel. Second time staying at this hotel, service is good, hotel is clean, never felt unsafe when inside. Very limited parking. Breakfast good

North Hollywood Stay for Universal Studios.

Everything was as good as I expected. The problems I had, was the renovation was suppose to be done and it wasn't, so some things were inconvenient. Plus the front drsk people did tell me breakfast or check out times, i had to call, which isn't a huge deal but I always get told that. Also the $15 parking charge said it was covered on my Bill, but they charged me anyway. Which i will be disputing with Hotels. Everything else was good though. Nice size room, decent breakfast for what you pay for and nice people there. Distance to universal studios is good too. I would stay again after the renovation is over.

Its the worst place.

We stayed on 02/13 for one night. No running water when we checked in for 4 hours. Could not flush toilets. Then elevator not working do to maintence and there was no stair entrance. We came down and ended up outside in the rain. Then had to wait for 1 hr before going back up woth elevator. We were just trying to collect our food delivery.

I was very disappointed. We came and hotel was under construction & still had to pay $15 for parking. I stayed on the 4th floor and the # 4 button (in the elevator) didn’t work so I had to go to the 5th floor and walk downstairs each time. I definitely would not stay there again.

Beware of payment options

Ridiculous that you can't use a credit card on your phone in this day and age. Luckily I still has another hard card, but be need to do their the process of reimbursement rather than a simple payment form (that is accepted globally).

Great location for the universal, good breakfast.

We stayed overnight during our visit to universal, it was very close to the park. Reading some of the reviews that says the area was sketchy I was little concerned but I would say there was nothing sketchy about the area, it is a typical LA neighborhood. Breakfast was good. Parking was very convenient for a reasonable $10 fee. Overall we were happy with our stay as a family of 4.
