I recently stayed at the Sofitel LA and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel is elegant, the rooms are beautifully maintained, and the staff inside the property delivers an exceptional level of service that truly reflects the Sofitel brand. However, I was extremely disappointed by the valet service. Despite the quality expected from a luxury hotel, the valet staff provided poor service and seemed unmotivated unless tips were involved. This was the only aspect that fell far below the hotel’s standards and negatively impacted an otherwise excellent stay. I hope management addresses this issue, as the rest of the experience was outstanding.
