AC didnt work. Parking spaces are small and you still have to pay for it. Rooms are spacious. Staff is nice. Saw a giant spider in the bathroom. Bathtrooms werent the cleanest.

I was surprised by the $15 charge for parking. This is a motel after all. Plus the heater in the room didn't work. It wouldn't go above 69 dgrees. Everything else was fine. Though next time we'll look elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience at The Anza Hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. I barely slept during my stay because the noise level throughout the hotel was unbearable. The walls are basically paper-thin. On my first night, the guest next to me was on his phone speaking on speaker for a long time. After I patiently waited about 30 minutes, he finally quieted down — only to start howling loudly around 11:45 PM. I had no choice but to call the front desk, who thankfully moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the second night was just as bad. The guests above me were jumping and stomping around at 3 AM, making it impossible to sleep. This seems to be a recurring issue because I’m frequently placed in handicap-accessible rooms at hotels, and I’m not sure why this keeps happening — but here it added to the frustration. While the front desk staff were polite and tried to help, the overall environment, clientele, and noise level were extremely disrespectful and chaotic. I did not get a single decent night of sleep. I would not stay here again. The staff is kind, but the hotel experience itself was awful.

The hotel is nice and definitely affordable considering that lots of hotels around the Calabasas area are overpriced. The room that my girlfriend and I got was very clean. No complaints. The staff took good care of us from the check in all the way to check out. If I plan to revisit Calabasas again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
