Days inn Merced,

I understand that the area was not the best in town and the hotel is working with what thay have. Rooms smaller then they appear on wesite. ADA we had a pinch point between the bed and the dresser. Bathroom door although wide and needed for ADA customers. Had a wheelchair been in there the pich point in the room would be an issue. exposed piping in bathroom a bit unsightly. during the stay. I walked our dog at 11:30 pm and their was a homeless man slepping in one of the parking stalls with his head on the concrete tire stop ( Merced PD did ahow up and asked him to leave. desk said there was sercurity on site. I never saw them. Overall the room was clean and tidy. Staff and lobby was very receptive. breakfast was very good. property would benifit from a small containment fence or walls with proper signage. room to value was good . keep improving the property for customer and Staff safety. Once again the Staff was attentive and concerned and did not contribute to issues noted.

The property was okay. There were a lot of people which were homeless, just roaming around the property and I did not feel safe at all. There was no facility of even getting hot water inside the room itself so I always had to like go out to the front desk. Get it come back. It was very inconvenient
