Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa offers 260 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features a safe and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Pillowtop beds feature down duvets. A pillow menu is available. Guests can make use of the in-room full-sized fridge/freezers and microwaves. Bathrooms include baths or showers with a deep soaking bath and a rainfall showerhead, and hairdryers.

The sofa beds are very uncomfortable so really you can only sleep two people!The rooms are nice and large!The dining whole resort was very well kept and clean!The food was very good quality just need more restraunts more variety!The pools were amazingly clean!The bathrooms need updating!

Overall, a very nice property with a few exceptions. Very low quality televisions in our suite. Surprising for a high-end resort. Lamps in suite beaten up and in poor working condition. Got food poisoning yesterday morning at the Playa Grande’s Calima restaurant. Pretty much ruined our last day on property. Spa services below par in quality, particularly staff attitudes. Unlikely to return. By far the best employee we dealt with all 9 days was Daniel on the pool server staff. He was amazing!

We were disappointed with our room overlooking the marina as it was loud (clubs at night, seals and dogs barking, and lots of traffic noise). We preferred the pacific view room we had the last time. The resort and amenities are beautiful and the staff are very friendly. We love the location with lots of things to do within walking distance. Wish we could swim in the ocean, but the sound of the waves crashing and beautiful sunsets made up for it. We’d stay here again but only if we were guaranteed a room on the Pacific side.
