Our stay was good overall. The pool was nice and the staff was great. The buffet selections were OK, nothing special but not bad. Some food was overcooked or soggy. The La Luna restaurant was very nice, but we were forced to wait for a seat the 2 nights we ate there due to out internet service not working so we could not reserve on line. Internet service was very spotty. Beach was beautiful with lots of sand. We were not able to go in the water due to the undertow, and I would have loved to have known this prior to booking, since it is a beach resort.

The pool was great and the rooms were spacious. Loved having morning coffee out on our balcony facing the water. The staff were excellent and always helpful. Did not like the idea of not being able to put toilet paper in the toilet. There was limited dining - we would have liked a few more options.

This is a quaint resort which is conveniently located within walking distance to Old Town San Jose Del Cabo. The resort has friendly staff that works tirelessly from morning till night. The resort is clean, the food is good and the beach is enjoyable. There are many activities available throughout the day. There are shows at night and lots of opportunities to sing karaoke. A fantastic place to stay!

My daughter and I had a lovely time at the Royal Decameron! We enjoyed the pools, the large room with a pool and ocean view, and being so close to the beach. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We had a really relaxing time. Definitely would go again and recommend to others.

Loved the short drive from the airport - a much quieter Cabo experience, which is exactly what we were looking for. We never felt the need to leave the resort, but were a short taxi ride away from the entertainment if we had wanted to. There were also plenty of entertainment opportunities on the resort itself (we never ventured to the disco, but overheard other guests raving about their time there). Although swimming is not advisable here, the beach was beautiful and very peaceful and quiet, which was amazing considering it is peak Spring Break time here. The outdoor restaurant on the beach had an amazing ambience at night and was a full three-course meal experience. The staff were amazing and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who prefers a less crowded atmosphere and would stay here again.

The staff were probably the most friendly group I've ever been around. It's an older building that has been well maintained. The only problem was the evening meal. It was hard to get a reservation.

Skip the food

Property is definitely ready for a remodel. The tile is coming off the pool, rails are rusted through and the rooms show signs of being well used. Food was awful, we ended up eating dinner out almost every night of our trip after we tried all meal options and determined it was not worth sticking around for.
